Heritage Tourism/Activity Guide is required for the Eriksdale Museum in Eriksdale, Manitoba. This position is a 35 hour work week beginning July 03 2017 and ending August 26 2017 with a $12.00 per hour salary. Work is Monday to Saturday with one weekday and alternating Saturdays off.
The successful candidate will conduct the day to day operation of the museum. Create and maintain displays. Create interactive activities for families to make museum come alive.
Qualifications include: Meet the necessary requirement of the Young Canada Works program. Senior high or university student who is interested in our heritage
Outgoing and enthusiastic
Self motivated, willing to work on his/her own part of the time.
Willingness to take direction
Interested in a challenge and learning new things
Likes to demonstrate what they have learned
Enjoys working with people of all ages
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office
