The Caetani Centre is seeking to recruit a student through YCW for a summer placement as Research & Program Assistant from May 15 – September 1, 2017. This position is dependent on the Centre securing funding. The successful candidate will assist in historical research, coordinating and promoting all aspects of the Caetani programs and projects scheduled for the summer, as well as assisting with additional research in audience development, volunteer development, marketing, events and fundraising. Candidates should ideally be studying in the field of fine art, art history, history, English or drama. For a full description of tasks and work plan see our website at www.caetani.org
The successful candidate should have the following:
1. Proof of Canadian Citizenship and
2. Good computer skills
3. Excellent written and oral skills
4. Confidence in working with and presenting to the public
5. Flexibility with working hours as some weekend and evening work is required
6. Knowledge of computer programs, such as office suites and design programs would be an asset
7. A current driving license would be an advantage.
