In November 2017, the organization opened its new, purpose-built home on the North Vancouver waterfront, elevating a world-class gallery's facility to a level equal with its reputation. As the organization prepares for a major fall exhibition, The Polygon seeks one Exhibitions Assistant to work with the Director of Operations and Exhibition Production on a variety of projects, including (but not limited to): planning, preparation, installation, and maintenance of The Polygon's fall exhibitions, and change-over to the spring exhibition program; setting up gallery spaces for The Polygon and third-party events; acting as a Gallery Attendant, providing institutional security for the art, and educating visitors about the exhibition and related public programs.

S/he will have extensive experience and interest in art production and a background in art fabrication or equivalent hands-on experience in producing objects with either electronic components, detailed sculptural objects and/or photographic production and framing.
