Wadena & District Museum,Museum Assistant: Wage is $11.96 / hr. ad per CUPE agreement, 40 hrs per week, 16 weeks. English is required, other languages are an asset. Computer skills and a valid driver's license are required. Duties include care and maintenance of the grounds, flower pots, beds and gardens, planting flowers, keeping grass trimmed around all buildings, assisting in the operation of museum and tourist center, providing verbal and written information to visitors, assist with fundraising and participate in all museum events during the summer. Ability to interact with handicapped visitors, seniors and children. Start date is May 8, 2018. Wadena is a rural community with a rich and diverse history.
