Summer Youth Program Director
April 29th to August 25th
Rate of pay $16.00 / hour


The Ottawa Lions Track and Field is club is looking for a person to direct and promote its spring and summer Youth Programs. This position offers 15 weeks of employment in Ottawa, Ontario working with the Ottawa Lions Track and field Club. Duties include the promotion and marketing of our Summer Youth Programs, the development of a Youth Para Athletics program and being a member of our Spring Program and Summer Camp staff with a special emphasis on working with Para athletes.

The position is open to university or college students or graduates with a preference for those with studies in kinesiology, physical education, sports management or recreation. Candidates must demonstrate experience and background in track and field, basic word-processing skills, knowledge of both French and English and experience working with children ages 6-14. Candidates with experience or training in marketing and Sports promotion are preferred. Candidates must supply a valid Police Check and must complete a First Aid Course.
