The Town is seeking a TOURISM INFORMATION OFFICER for the Gananoque & The Thousands Islands Visitor Centre, 10 King Street East Gananoque, assisting visitors by providing information, as well as website and social media updates and carrying out administrative functions.


The student should have an understanding of the tourism and travel industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of local attractions, events and tourism services along with excellent communication, administrative and time management skills. The candidate should be proficient in French and English.
