We are seeking self-motivated and adventurous students to take on the annual updating of our extensive Funeral/Memorial Program Collection and any other special projects that may arise.

We’d like to receive your application, if you

 are between the age of 16 and 30

 are a Canadian citizen (or legally entitled to work in Canada)

 plan to return to full-time studies in the fall, or a recent graduate of a university or college program student with an interest in history, archiving, or libraries,

 enjoy working independently and as part of a team on unique projects

 have an inquiring mind and good problem solving skills

 are looking for challenging summer employment that will provide a variety of opportunities to further your employability skills, particularly in library, social sciences and computer literacy

 have a spirit of adventure and enthusiasm

Rate of Pay: $19.66 per hour plus Northern Allowance

Work Week: 37.5 hours. Weekend and evening work may be required.

Period: May 8 to Aug. 25, 2017

Other: An RCMP security check is required.

Knowledge of the North would be considered an asset.
