Bilingual Innovation Facilitator with Discovery Centre
Period of Employment - 12 weeks from June 11 to Aug 31, 2018
Rate: $12.60 per hour/35 hours per week.
Location – 1215 Lower Water St., Halifax, B3J 3S8

Current enrolment in a post-secondary program in a STEAM subject, Education, Communication, Information Technology or relevant field. Working experience related to interpretation, education, or recreational programming, especially those within science centres or museums. Exceptional communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; a genuine love of engaging with people of all ages and abilities. Computer literacy and a demonstrated interest in creative making, technology, and learning new skills. Specialized knowledge (e.g. coding, visual arts, woodworking, robotics, or sewing) an asset. Must be bilingual.
Background - Science, information technology, engineering, education or related studies at the university level

As an Bilingual Innovation Facilitator you will have the opportunity to work within an innovative programming department delivering creative making technology to the public and summer club program.
