The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is known across Canada for its unmatched collection of art from historical to contemporary, Canadian as well as international, and for its established and growing art education and outreach programs. In 2017, the Gallery opened its brand new pavilion expansion, with an addition of 33000 square feet of exhibition spaces, as well as an artist in residence studio, a café, a learning centre, outdoor courtyard and a public sculpture garden. With a collection of 6000 works of art, over 13 gallery spaces with rotating exhibitions, 25 staff and over 100 volunteers, the Gallery is celebrating their new expansion with a spectacular exhibition schedule and an ambitious program plan in 2018. The Gallery Tour Guide will contribute greatly to the success of our summer programs.

The candidate for this position will be a visual arts, education or art education student with a keen interest in community engagement. The candidate will have great communication, research, program developing and program assessment skills, with a special focus on art education, in both official languages.
