Are you passionate about providing opportunities for all Canadian youth to learn both official languages? Would you like an opportunity to work in both official languages? Do you want to help make this a reality? If you answered this with a resounding "YES", then this as an opportunity for you! Canadian Parents for French Alberta is looking for a student to spend thirteen weeks in sunny Edmonton, Alberta to help them develop standards for socio-cultural activities and project management. You will also have an opportunity to learn about advocacy, public relations, communications, office administration and working with a team!
Edmonton has more than 15 festivals during the winter - from "Deep Freeze - a Byzantine Winter Festival" to "Flying Canoë Volant" to "Red Bull Crashed Ice". Edmonton is your winter fun city! Winter time is the coldest time of year in Edmonton and includes snow fall as early as November and as late as March. The majority of snow fall in the region happens from December to February. Also, in the winter time the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) can be seen on a regular basis. The average temperature ranges from -10 to -25 degrees Celsius.
