Archive Assistant


Salary per hour: $15.00

Location: The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, 174 Market Ave, Winnipeg, MB

Duration: 6 weeks (180 hours). Flexible start date but must end by March 31, 2018

Part-time: Mon-Fri (30 hours per week) Student MUST be able to work 30 hours/week (weeks do not have to be consecutive).


The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre seeks an Archive Assistant to digitize a variety of media related to our production photographs. The Archive Assistant will also enter metadata related to the records.

The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:

 Current student in the area of Archival Studies or a related field.

 Advanced communication skills in English.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 Able to work independently and collaboratively.

 Interest in digitization.

 Enthusiasm for theatre and/or performing arts.
