Located in Fredericton’s Historic Garrison District and in other NB Museums and schools this position pays $13 per hour, starting as soon as possible to March 30th, 2018.

This internship is a wonderful opportunity for someone with an interest in theatre, education and cultural history who wants to improve their skills in research, writing and performing. A museum theatre animator brings history and culture to life through interpretive tours, performance and workshop activities with children and adults.

Candidates should have superior communications and people skills. Experience in theatre and education plus working with children and/or tourists would be assets. In addition, knowledge of, or interest in, local history, music and drama or storytelling are preferable.

Candidates will be required to audition in order to demonstrate their skills relative to acting, improvisation and performance; abilities with music, both singing and playing an instrument are desired.
