Job Location: Library Headquarters, 787 Broadway St, Wyoming, Ontario.

Position: Technical Services Summer Student

Duties: Assist Technical Services staff and Children's Services Assistant with ongoing projects such as collection maintenance and updating children's storytime and reading kits.

Qualifications - Good computer skills. Attention to detail and familiarity with library procedures. Good oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Mature and able to work productively both alone and with others

This employment opportunity is funded by Young Canada Works. Applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada; be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have refugee status in Canada; be between 16 and 30 years of age at the start of employment; be registered in the Young Canada Works Inventory; be willing to commit to the full duration of the work assignment; not have another full-time job while employed with YCW; have been a full-time student in the semester preceding their job with YCW; and intend to return to full-time studies in the semester following their job with YCW. Applicants who have already been hired in these jobs in previous year are not eligible for re-hiring.
