Position: Data Entry Assistant

Duties: Research, index, label and process historic photographs

Qualifications:
University student with a field of study in history. Proficient in using computer software. Independent worker with good research, grammar and spelling skills. Attention to detail. Self-starter with excellent keyboarding skills. Familiarity with local history and records management an asset.

This employment opportunity is funded by Young Canada Works. Applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada; be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have refugee status in Canada; be between 16 and 30 years of age at the start of employment; be registered in the Young Canada Works Inventory; be willing to commit to the full duration of the work assignment; not have another full-time job while employed with YCW; have been a full-time student in the semester preceding their job with YCW; and intend to return to full-time studies in the semester following their job with YCW. Applicants who have already been hired in these jobs in previous year are not eligible for re-hiring.

Wage rate: minimum wage
