The Manitou Culture and Heritage Committee under the Pembina Manitou CDC is seeking a dynamic, energetic and outgoing Student for the position of Assistant Manager/Tour Guide for Manitou Log House. This position will involve direct contact with the public as well as some very interesting local historical research. If you have any of the following interests, you may be a perfect candidate for us: have previously worked on data bases, enjoy doing research using primary documents, willing to work with people of all ages, able to write articles for the local paper, have experience as a community volunteer, and know about or willing to learn about the early history of the Pembina Manitou area of Southern Manitoba. It would also be very useful if the candidate knew about and was willing to learn about the Tourism attraction and events in the area.
