CELEBRATE CAANDA: EMBRACE THE ARTS! Confederation Centre of the Arts is a leader in culture in Canada, the Atlantic Region and Prince Edward Island.
Since 1964, Confederation Centre of the Arts has been inspiring Canadians, through heritage and the arts, to celebrate the origins and evolution of Canada. For over 50 years generations of islanders and visitors have enhanced their lives through Confederation Centre 's visual and performing arts and heritage Programming.
The Confederation Centre of the Arts is a large complex, constructed as Canada's only memorial to the Fathers of Confederation Centre and Canada's birthplace. It is a living memorial housing several theatres, including an 1106 seat Class A theatre, a 500 seat outdoor amphitheatre, a cabaret theatre and a studio theatre. It is home to national art gallery that houses more than 16,000 pieces in its permanent collection; The Centre has its own restaurant and gift shop and provides catering services for meetings and conventions. The Confederation Centre offers guests many enriching experiences, as well as provides artists from across Canada an opportunity to showcase their talent and develop their skills.

Role:
The main objective of the National Heritage Guide program is to provide an experience to each and every visitor as they visit Canada's only Living memorial to the Fathers of Confederation and Canada's birthplace. Acting as key ambassadors for the Centre, the national heritage guides would play a key role to ensure that our guests who come to the Centre have the opportunity to learn about the identity of Canada, its founders and its artists. The Confederation Centre strives to expand its role as a leader in culture and wants to provide a welcoming place for people to come together in the spirit of creation.
