Note: Pitt Meadows is located in the Lower Fraser Valley, 50 kilometers east of Vancouver. There is limited public transportation from Vancouver to the area. The Golden Ears bridge does give access to the area from south of the Fraser but this is a toll bridge. The Pitt River Bridge gives access from the west on the Lougheed Highway through Port Coquitlam and this is the route the 701 and 791 bus take. Applicants should take into consideration their commute to the area when applying for the position.
