32.5 hrs./wk.; $14.50 / hr.

The position involves the development and delivery of a variety of heritage programs. The activities engage children, youth and seniors, and include: preparing program resource materials; conducting school and public tours; program promotion, documentation and evaluation. The position also requires scheduling/supervising volunteers and security of buildings and exhibits.


Ideal candidates will have completed at least two years in a post-secondary institution with a focus on education and/or history. They must have been full-time students in spring, 2017, and be enrolled for full-time classes in the 2017 fall term/semester. Candidates should have paid and/or volunteer work experience with the public, preferably involving cultural programming. Students should be mature, self-motivated, have strong planning and time management skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English. Indigenous students are encouraged to apply.
