Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge is a world-class fly-in fishing destination. We hire about two dozen students each summer to handle all the duties of customer service at Aikens (including fishing guides, manual labour, housekeeping, waitressing, bartending, kitchen).

Aikens is not accessible by road, does not get cell service. WiFi is available to stay connected, but we are our own little community far from civilized life. But we are a luxury lodge, so it is a "soft wilderness"experience in terms of amenities, living quarters, etc. Aikens has a huge white-sand beach in the beautiful Canadian Shield. A true paradise for all who experience it. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to be one with nature and live and earn money in the middle of the beautiful boreal forests of Eastern Manitoba.
