The ideal candidate will be a university or post-secondary student in 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student in the fields of Arts Administration, Commerce-Management Program, or a Masters of Business Administration. Skills include above average capability with MS Office Programs, including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point, ability to use a digital audio recorder in interviews and for transcriptions of interviews. In addition, the candidate will be engaging, be able to communicate comfortably and professionally with a wide range of people from various backgrounds, in written and oral form. Experience in research techniques and management is essential, with an understanding of strategic planning and business plan development. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to meet deadlines and comfortable working within a non-profit arts organization.
The position is located at the Saskatchewan Craft Council in Saskatoon. It runs from May 29 to August 18, 2017. (Starting and ending dates can be changed.) This is a full-time position (35 hours per week), at $13.12 per hour.
