Come join the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (CFDC) for the summer as a Senior Field Technician. Meet new people and learn all about fossils in Manitoba. Gain valuable hands on experience in the Earth Sciences.

Tasks:
- assist palaeontologists with fossil excavations
- conduct exciting and informative dig tours safely and successfully
- keep gallery and exhibit space maintained
- assist with development and improvement of exhibits
- participate with promotion of CFDC in events and programs
- assist with museum research projects

Start Date: May 8, 2017
End Date: August 28, 2017
Hours: 35/wk
Wage: $11.25/hr

Requirements:
- Full time student returning as a full time student
- First aid and CPR certificates
- Submit to a child abuse registry check and criminal record check
- Valid driver's license
- Must have taken at least 1 course in any of the following: tourism, hospitality, media, communications, palaeontology, biology, geology, anthropology or archaeology
