Cape Jourimain is Hiring Cape Jourimain Museum Interpreters

Cape Jourimain Nature Centre, located in Bayfield, New Brunswick, is looking for heritage interpreters that possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills. They will have an interest and experience in local history and environmental education and outreach, and will have an outgoing personality. They will have experience working with children and in a team setting.

Level of education required: enrolled university student

Area of studies: History, Language Arts, Cultural Studies or even experience in theatre and fine arts, as well as Environmental Studies, Geography or Education programs. Long term interest in Museum Studies would be an asset.

Experience: Experience in communicating with the public (public speaking, giving presentations); experience with children an asset;
Skills: computer (Word, Power Point, Excel, Internet); able to work well in both official languages an asset; leadership skills; teamwork.
Must be willing to reside in a rural community for the term of their stay, or able to commute.
