The Melville Heritage Museum is seeking a museum assistant for the period May 19, 2017 to August 29, 2017.
Hours of Work: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: $11.25 per hour
Must be able to work days including some weekends
Must possess functional computer skills in word, excel, power point and publisher
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with moderate supervision
Have a demonstrated interest in history and be willing to learn museum operations
Be comfortable in working with larger groups ( museum tours and special events.
Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic persona as a ambassador for the museum
Melville is a City of 5,000 people located 48 kilometers south/west of Yorkton. and 145 kilometers north/east of Regina.

Melville is home to the Parkland Regional College
